The procedure of withdrawing winnings from an online casino is a multi-step protocol that depends on the user's profile, the selected payment method, and the particular policies of the casino itself.

Here is how it works in reality as of 2026:

KYC (Know Your Customer) [[https://cultuurwijzer.nl/online-casino-strategieen-psychologie-risicobeheer-en-het-geheim-van-carlospin/|Carlospin ]]

This is the primary hurdle for new players. Not a single licensed casino will execute a withdrawal until it has verified that you are a real person over the age of 18.

What is required: A photo of your passport (occasionally a selfie holding the document), address confirmation (such as a utility invoice or bank statement), and a photo of your bank card.
Purpose: This is a compliance rule (to combat money laundering) and a step to prevent fraud. If you hit a big win, the casino must ensure that the funds are being sent to the actual account holder, rather than a hacker.
Timing: You are typically asked to complete verification either right upon signup or at the time of your first withdrawal request. Until this process is finished, the "Cashout" button may remain inactive.

Cashier Operation

Once your account has been confirmed, the process proceeds as follows:

Entering the cashier: The player clicks the "Withdrawal" button.
Selecting a method: Casinos generally require that funds be withdrawn via the same channel that was used for the deposit. This is called the "return-to-source" rule (part of AML protocols). For example, if you deposited 1,000 rubles using a "Mir", the first 1,000 rubles of your winnings must be sent back to that same card. The remaining balance can then be paid out to a different payment account.
Entering the sum: The specified amount must fall within the casino's established limits (for example, from 500 and 500,000 rubles per transaction).

Finance Department Review

Once you click "Withdraw," your request is forwarded to the financial unit.

Manual check: High-value cashouts (typically 50k-100k rubles or more) are checked by hand by a safety specialist. They examine your betting log to verify you haven't violated any rules (such as "bonus hunting" or utilizing prohibited software).
Source of Funds/Wagering Check: If you deposited 100 rubles, wagered it only once, and won 100,000, the casino may decline the withdrawal, referring to that the funds were not wagered properly (e.g., "bonus laundering"). Casinos generally require that you "wager" (wager) your deposit amount at least 1–3 times.
Confirmation: If all checks pass, the request is labeled "Accepted."

Summary: Casinos usually process payouts quickly (within an hour) on the condition that the player has passed KYC and met deposit wagering requirements. If your information is not already in the system, the process may last several days due to security checks.
